Domains

Your domain is your address on the Internet. It is used both for your web addresses and for your email addresses. Domain names are purchased separately from your account.

Because of our membership with Nominet UK, we can offer .co.uk, .me.uk and .org.uk at £30 UK exc VAT each for a two year term. These domains are subject to Nominet's Terms and Conditions.

The .com, .net, .org, .info and .biz domains may be purchased through us at £60 UK each exc VAT for a two year term.

Domain Name Registrations

Domain Name Registrants

Domain Name Renewals
All domains are renewed on an bi-annual basis. We will send out reminder emails at least 30 days before expiry together with our invoice for renewal fee.

We will send the emails to the email address on the account, it is the registrants responsibility to make sure their contact details are up to date. Digital Routes Ltd take no responsibility if your domain renewal fails due to your contact details being incorrect. If you do not wish to renew a domain please make sure you contact us a minimum of 14 days before your domain expires by emailing us at info@digitalroutes.co.uk or call us on 01343 813638.

All domains will be auto renewed 14 days in advance of the domain name expiring and will be billed 30 days in advance.

If you do not renew your domain before its expiry date it will have all services we provide suspended and you will have up to 30 days (protected period) after to renew the domain name at the original renewal fee as detailed above..

After 30 days of your domain(s) expiring it will be put into a redemption period.  It is usually possible to retrieve a domain(s) once it’s in the redemption period, but this cannot always be guaranteed. An additional redemption fee (if any cost is incurred) might be applied as well as the standard renewal fee. This must be requested by email before the 80th day after your domain has expired, after 90 days your domain will be cancelled and deleted from the register and made available for resale through a third party registrar. Digital Routes Ltd will not guarantee the renewal of a domain name.

Domain Name Transfer

When you register through us you will own your domain name. Therefore, if you ever decided to transfer your business to one of our competitors, you would be welcome to take your domain name with you and there will be no cost to you.

Abuse Complaints

If you wish to raise a complaint about abuse you have received (phishing scams, spam emails etc), please contact us info@digitalroutes.co.uk at with as much detail about the abuse. We will investigate your complaint and respond within 2 business working days.

Here at Digital Routes Ltd we like to think we get it right all the time, every time but the truth of it is everyone gets it wrong from time to time. We can only improve on our services with valid feedback from you, our customers.

If you wish to make a complaint about a service you have received, please submit an email to us at info@digitalroutes.co.uk including as much detail from the issue you have. We will acknowledge your complaint within 1 business day and aim to resolve any issues within 5 business days.
