Digital Routes has been offering web design and hosting services since 1998.
Looking for web design in Lossiemouth or in Elgin or web design in Moray or web design in
Scotland or the UK? Look no further! We build our websites to be found by search engines,
used by everybody on virtually any computer and they are designed to be
easily maintained by our clients.
We have built many websites since our inception as you can see on our archived News pages. We have worked with Holiday Cottages, Hotels and Restaurants. Health and Community services from Sign Language sites to local Theatre and Arts. We have built many eCommerce sites for local shops and further afield. We have worked with Museums, Estate Agents, Farms and Diving services. And we have built websites for many trades from Landscape Gardening to Roofing. So you can see, we have quite a range of expertise.
Below, are just a few of the sites we have worked on, with some details of how they came about. But for more examples, do check out our News pages.
Perrygolf has been with us since the very beginning. Their website features escorted golf tours and cruises throughout the world. All PerryGolf's marketing is now conducted on the internet and so their website plays a crucial role in the promotion of their business and their sales. Digital Routes built their website and were also involved in the design. We also maintain the website, performing weekly and often daily tasks, updating content for them and providing assistance and technical advice whenever they require it.
The website has been through a number of redesigns over the last 20 plus years as technology and client requirements have changed. The website is handbuilt with php code using the Foundation system to control the responsiveness of the website, so that it looks great on PC's, Macs, Tablets and Mobile Phones.

While Perrygolf was one of our earliest clients, The Lighthouse Podcast Studio is one of our latest websites to go live (at the time of writing). We were given a brief by the client to create a website that would promote their services and facilities and allow the booking of the studio to be facilitated online. The site also displays the studio availability prior to booking.
We were provided with a logo and a brief discussing how they wanted their site to look and some details of what they liked about other websites. We have built the website in wordpress using the DIVI theme and heavily customised all aspects of the build. We took aspects of their logo and incorporated these into the website and also created a few other custom graphics like the wonderful Lossie seagulls. We think the website looks great!
A website needn't be expensive and highly detailed. A simple cost effective solution can often do the job just as nicely. This website for the Burghead Community Hall is a great example of this.
The website features prominent imagery featuring the hall as a venue. It offers availability and online booking facilities. The website, built with php, also has a site editor so that the client can easily update their pages. On this site, there is a news page which is frequently updated.

From the small website for Burghead Hall we have this much larger website which promotes Lossiemouth as a visitor attraction. There are many pages here and lots of links through to the Lossiemouth Business Association pages too.
We were very happy to be asked to design and build this website which would promote the virtues of Lossiemouth. The pages are an information portal covering all aspects of what you can see and do in Lossiemouth. The site was built using Wordpress and the DIVI theme and again, very heavily customised. We think the site reflects the bright location and relaxed feel that visitors will come here to find.
